hi all,

i just stumbled upon this link, and am encouraged by the posts that say that OHIP will cover this surgery outside of canada. I am wondering if it's covered in canada if i am willing to make the driver to ottawa or toronto instead of the states... i am in ontario, about an hour and a half from niagara falls, so it's not like it's not an option to go to the states, however i guess there's just something in my head about going to another country to have the surgery done...i dont mean any offence at all by that comment, and please dont turn this into a canada vs the states debate, it's merely the thought of going outside of canada, and i guess the whole idea of the surgery is scary to... are there more benefits of going to the states than staying in canada to have it done?
