Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass |  Weight Gain During My 7th Week Post-opt  Please help! I WEIGHED MY SELF YESTERDAY AND THIS MORNING AND THE SCALE READ 285 WHICH IS FIVE POUNDS MORE THAN LAST WEEK . I DO BELIEVE MY SCALE IS WRONG I'M THINKING ABOUT GOING BACK TO THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE JUST TO SEE WHAT HIS SCALE READS...I HAVE TO ADMIT I DO LOOK LIKE I'M STILL LOSING WEIGHT BUT THE SCALE SAYS SOMETHING DIFFERENT! I'M WALKING ALMOST EVERYDAY FOR AN HOUR. AM I EATING TO MUCH? OR NOT EXERCISING ENOUGH?

| Super Moderator  | Do NOT take water pills, it will dehydrate you and dehydration is a big NO-NO for bypass patients, it will make you very ill, and actually intefere with your weight loss. Let your body do it's own job, there is no way you will not lose right now, so don't worry about the scale. You are going to lose in bumps and humps, not one smooth fell swoop. ((((((HUGS)))))
