yes- meet me there!! yippy!! I would so love it!! Will be great to finally meet you!! To all.... Re: NY/LI/Suffolk County WL meetings: Dr. Ahmad's (you do not have to be his patient) WL meetings are for ANYONE losing or wanting to lose weight. Banders, Bypass, and other WL techniques are all welcome. Though band/bypass are the most heavily discussed methods for WL. THey discuss pros/cons of the different techniques, discuss anxiety, depression, healthy attitudes, friendships, losing friends, getting/being comfortable with the new you, shopping/clothes, how to eat, what to eat, when to eat, social behavior, vitatmins/minerals, body lifts etc. Each meeting they have some sort of a slide show/presentation and or guest/professional speaker. It is really awesome! It all gets discussed and everyone shares their stories  His meetings are the 2nd tuesday of every month, starts 630pm, it is at Mather Hospital-- (Off North Country Rd and Belle Terre Rd, Port Jefferson). Just go in the Main Entrance and ask the desk which conference room we are in. I really hope that you all can make it!!

HEY NY gal you sure the meetings are open to anyone i am under the impression for his patients only unless this has changed. is he no longer rotating one month at st charles one month at mather???? let me know were and ill try to go for sure. and maybe if it really is open to all now ill drag edie along with me!!! let me know thanks! i have to call him this week anyway due to my new deficiencies
