I have lost 28lbs so far...I should be happy, but Im not. I think if I could see results I would feel better. Also, I am finsing I am so hungry yesterday and today. Ahhhh! I just want the weight loss to be done and me at my goal weight! Any suggestions? Thanks, Kerr-Bear

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

YESSSSSSSS. one day at a time. the blues could be from mouring the loss of our best friend- food. the hunger could be what some of us have called "head hunger" one day at a time. sip, walk, reflect on things. it will get easier as time passes.

as for the not seeing it, take pictures and paste them side by side. you WILL see it then.

Aw, Big HHHHUUUUGGGGSSSS to you Kerr -Bear. They say it is very normal for some people to go thru a blue period, (I was very fortunate, I did not). Celebrate the accomplishments you have made--going through the surgery, changing your eatting habits, losing 28 lbs--HELLO---I repeat, LOSING 28 LBS.!!!! That's terrific! I know we want immediate results but try to remember--you will see them very shortly. You are going to be amazed with your new body. Also, all of this is very new for you--I think the anastheisa plays a part in our emotions too--it takes awhile for it to get out of our systems--so Kerr-Bear, all of your feelings are quite normal. Please know we are here for you to help you through this. Hope you try to focus on nothing but the good positive things that will come to you.

Aw, yes, post op blues are quite common.
Hang in there, but if it seems to become uncontrollable, it may be best to get professional help.
(((((HUGS))))) Congratulations on joining the Loser's Bench, and may your journey go well.

I think it's very common...Lisa posted something not long ago about the different stages you go through....! I don't remember the thread, but she may come along and be able to find it for you easily!
