Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass    |  Update: I am tired of going to the doctors.. I am still waiting for my doctors office to call to give me a date about my surgery. I am getting better with the waiting part. So I guess that is a good thing...lol Since July I have been dealing with issues with my lips being swollen and very painful. I was told it was from a insect bite to I was alergic too MSG. Finally after taking Prednisone for two weeks it finally went away. All went well until about three weeks ago, lips swollen again.  Now back on Prednisone again (here comes the weight gain) Finally I went to see a allergist and guess what I find out? I am not only alergic to shell fish but I am alergic to all fish and peanuts. The doctor took me off the Prednisone thank goodness and gave me Allegra and it's working without causing me to gain weight. So now the mystery is finally solved. I had been eating peanuts about three weeks ago and that's why i have the fat lips. My drama is finally over. I am finally happy
