Default New to Board

Hi eveyone, I am new to these boards never did this before. I have been doing alot of reading on the different posts and you guys here sound like just what I need. I am having surgery on the 20th of Nov and yes just before Thanksgiving great timing but I did have a choice and I didn't want to keep putting it off, because then it would be christmas etc. I am starting a liquid protein diet on tuesday, few more days of eating, this is going to be a long journey but I hope well worth it this is my last tool. I have lost weight in the past but gained it back and of corse more to go with it. So getting so close to the date I feel like I am on a roller coster. My husband is behind me on this journey which I am so greatfull for, I would have done it without him anyway. Hope to read alot more intresting info and I will be asking questions along the way. Just wanted to say Hi..

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hi there. Im Vickie. Welcome to the boards. I applaud you on the decision to have it done now. We can always push it off until after the holidays but you didnt. The liquid diet part will help you in the long run. It kinda gives your body a lesson on what is to come for a bit. It helps shrink the liver also which is important in this type of surgery. You will find eveyone here is at different stages in there Weight Loss. Im about 6 weeks out now. I started this back in March. If you have any questions or even help please post. We love to see new people come in and stay.
