|  Hi all Hi All, This is my 1st time heren and I'm really seeing a lot of encouraging thoughts. I meet with my PCM next Thurs. in hopes of starting on a new journey in my life, My hubby and daughters are behind me %110. I have seen a wole list of complications that MAY arise, but its still seems to be a very wise move on my part to start it adventure, good luck and grongrats to all...Cindy

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Welcome, Becka went the military route but I think she ended up in a civillian hospital with tricare. Ms. Vickie used tricare too. My husband is retired Army but I work for the Fed Gov't and carry Blue Cross and Blue Shield and they were very good to me, but that depends on the state. Anyway I am sure either one of them will be along soon and be happy to fill you in. And if you have been reading the posts you will find some people who have had complications, recovered and still recommend WLS. So you have plenty of info here!

| Welcome to the boards! Everyone here is so great and a wonderful support. I have just been approved by Tricare and will be using a civilian facility for the surgery. I too am stationed in WA what part are you in? I live in Spokane and I have met a couple others here in Spokane that are military wives and have had the surgery. Good luck to you on your new journey. It's a long road but I am convinced it is worth every step. I am turning in my final paperwork for the pre-op stuff today and should get my official date early next week!!! They said could be Nov 13 or 27 depending on my paperwork! I super excited. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!
