| Newbie |  I am taking having my 1st appointmnet with a doctor for gastric bypass surgery. In the past 2 years I have contemplated this surgery and I have educated myself about the good, and the bad of surgery. I have been fat ALL MY LIFE and have now finally decided to go ahead with surgery. I am willing to make a commitment to change my life so that I can live. But I am so afraid of failure. I have such high hopes and do not want to mess up this only chance I have. |

I too was over weight and fat my entire life. I am now a year post op. AND i am wearing sizes in clothes I never got to wear ever. I am so happy and this was the best decision for me.
