Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

well we all tolerate pain differently....
I am also not sure if you have open
vs lapriscopic which makes for different
pain levels. SOME doctors put in drains
so there are so many factors.

ALL i can say is use ur pain medication
and each day does get better! HANG in
there and welcome to the LOOSEING SIDE!
before you know it you will forget this
difficult time!
HUGSssssssssss!

Default Pain

Hi,
I just had a lap rny on 5/17. My pain decreased day by day...still have a little. It seemed to get a lot better on the 9th day, once I was off clear liquids and started on protein drinks & soft/puree. Keep up on your pain meds. and walk if you can.Walking helps the circulation and you will heal faster.I'm doing 3x10min. per day.(Not so sure about today, it's been raining buckets ).
Hang in there. I was able to dress myself for the 1st time yesterday. I wasn't able to get both legs in pants. Good luck.

Glad the pain is getting better, and also glad that you can dress yourself again. Are you home now?

I thought when i come home that I would never be the same, but three weeks later i am feeling so much better. I still need to work on my exercise, need more walking. I am on pureed foods now which helps me to get that protien that I need to heal. It is amazing how this changes the way you feel. You will see as the weeks go by.
Good luck to you, and hang in there.

I got home and took liquid pain killer once and was ok after that. It is so true that we all handle pain differently. I had laproscopic and was up and walking by myself within 4 hours after surgery but the two ladies that also had surgery the same day I did were not getting up. I went home the next morning and they were still in bed. We all have our own tolerance levels but it should settle down soon for you.

I am almost 9 weeks out now, and I had it laproscopically.... for the most part I was off of pain meds within a week, but there are still times here and there where things are just a little tender. That having been said I am also working out at my gym now pretty regularly and it could be my body adjusting to using those muscles again..... I hope you feel better soon.... it will get better.
