Default Embarassing Question

This is really an embarrassing question, but have to ask it. After surgery, I had a hard time with BMs, consequently aggravating hemorroids. While they've been painful and itching, now the vaginal part is itching too. My doctor's nurse said it was probably vaginal hemorrhoids and there's not a whole lot that can be done for it. It just goes away after a while, but very uncomfortable. Does anyone else suffer from this and any ideas? See i said this was embarrassing.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

((HUG))) sorry i dont have such issues.
ONLY time i suffered a bad bout with
roids post op was when i came down with
a never ending stomach virus that i wound
up seeing a gastro guy for. HE told me not much
i can do for roids and the products in the stores
are a waste of money...just warm baths and
keeping clean was all he suggested.
SORRY your experiencing such
they can be brutal

sorry i never had hemroids. i did have a slight bm issue early out. not getting in enough fluids and the whole "re-wiring" took a toll. it did even out a bit further out. then of course when i have issues i do use the miralax and i swear by it. i hope you find relief.

PS. nothing is too embarassing to post here we're all here for eachother. i bet someone CAN help you.

Ok I will suggest a few things to help you dear. For the hard BM's use Miralax. Its a stool softner. You mix it with anything you drink hot or cold and you CANNOT taste it. That will help with that. It used to be precription and now is over the counter. Just get the small one to try and it will help emensly. As far as the Hemmorids go..... set in a hot bath... and massage the hemmorid a little. I know that sounds sick but it will help it. If possible do this 2-3 times per day. Prep H can help with the burning and itching. Its not great but its about the best thing they have for it. If you can get your hands on some Horse Chesnut cream use that. Natural heath food stores carry it. It will shrink them. The vaginal part...... I have never had but it almost sounds like to me that you need to get some vaginal suppositories for like a yeast infection. Get the one that has the cream with it to put the fire out. I think its the one with three and it will have a small tube of cream with it for applying externally.

Hemmorids are nothing more than vericose veins like in your legs. But OMG they can hurt so bad. We have had others with complaints of this right after surgery. If it contiues talk to your dr other wise if you will use what I have suggested you should have relief soon. I hope this helps

Lo Lo if your like me your gonna have to use it daily for a while until you get your self regulated again. You will run accross somthing that will make it much easier. This is strange but If i drink a milk choclate flavored ENSURE it will move me fast and easy. I think BOOTS said one day that a certian protein bar does it to her.

I had horrible problems with constipation that irritated the things - I got the softeners and was cutting them into quarters - use the miralax occasionally too. I have tried the Milk of Mag and Prune juice as well. I also use the medicated wipes and pretty warm water when it gets bad. I have increased my fluid intake as well.
