Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass   |  Update to my journey.... Let me start by saying I should have known something was not going to go right with an appointment scheduled for 3:30 pm. Well I got there at 1:30 pm got all signed in did the waiting period, they took me back in the back to change clothes and put in my iv's. Then here comes my doctor telling me she had an emergency and had to cancel my appointment until Thursday. Okay I will admit I was pissed, she didn't say the next day she said Thursday at 12:00 noon. I had to tell her no. They are messing with not only my schedule, my mother, husband and sister schedule too and Thursday I had no way of getting up there. So they found a spot for me Tuesday morning. So far so good until I spoke to the anesthiesiologist and he asked me about something called Graves dieased. It had been reported that I had this from my primary care doctor but never told to me. So now I have to go look into that anywho I get back there and they open me up and what do my surgeon find but three masses built up on my liver. Well my surgery came to a complete stop. To make a long story short the results were it's not cancerous so it was removed and I finally got my surgery. Today I am feeling a little stronger and better. I am just glad to be home. I still have my drain hanging from me but I am kind of getting use to the little thing now. Talk to you all soon.

| Big Loser | Wow! That was not the story I was expecting. I am SO glad to know that you are okay now though. I guess it will take a little longer to heal, but what a blessing this surgery was in that they found all that stuff sooner!
