Hey all! Remember me??????
It's been so long since I've been able to come visit with you all. I have missed this site so much.
Our computer broke and we have not been able to get it fixed until recently.
I have not had the surgery. I got very sick and the doctors couldn't tell me (still can't) and i didn't want to risk the surgery. However somehow about 4 and a half months ago i started to lose weight. In 4 and a half months I have lost over 60lbs and I haven't even been trying. The dr's have been doing testing and everything is fine according to their tests.
Anyway, I'll be long and newsy later, I just wanted to say hi. Do you all still do morning chats? I'd like to be at your next chat session if I can.
Hope all is well with everyone and I will be back soon to read and post and so on and so on.

I'm so sorry to hear of your illness, I sure hope the drs will be able to find out whatever's going on. What comes to my mind because you've lost a considerable amount of weight is, if something is wrong, maybe your thyroid, but then, that's one of the first things any dr would think of, so I imagin your drs are on top of everything.

Congratulations on your weight loss!!
Even if you think that you aren't doing anything different, I imagine you are eating much less than before, because of being seriously ill, and eating good choices, too, so that would make a big difference.

The morning chats have sort of slacked off, once our members are well on the way of losing weight, life catches up, and everyone is running in all directions.
I'll see if I can be around when you are, though.

Hope your drs will get to the bottom of it all soon, and you feel safe and sound.

Ill log in sometimebetween 7 and 10am, (my time zone), for those who don't remember I'm outside of Ottawa Ontario, I believe that it's Eastern standard time zone but not exactly sure, have to check that out.

Doc, even though I was so sick I actually didn't start losing weight until after i started feeling better. I still have bouts of whatever was wrong, no voice, coughing until i threw up, and major headaches, but not very often anymore. Yes I have been eating less now, but not at first. Better food choices, may have had something to do with it. I noticed that once i started to lose wieght i was\am finding it easier to move around and do things so i imagine that i started getting more activity than before, and it just seems to snowball from there. I've actually started to be able to do an excercise program. I started doing yolaties. (spelling may be wrong). It may not be a work out for many, but it's more than i have done in a very long time. I borrowed my mothers walker\glider just last week and have started working on that, plus I was given an ab roller which i just started using today.
Anyway, hope to see some of you sometime in chat tomorrow morning.
The poem bandit hid while I was sick but she lurks around every now and then. Maybe you'll hear from her in the next few weeks? Who knows with her. (tehee).
Roo and I are still together and more in love than ever. Although I've changed his nickname to wrinkle puppy. It was so funny, he was leaning over me when i was lying on the couch one day and i reached up and squeezed his forehead together, (no idea why), and he just reminded me of a wrinkle puppy. I love wrinkle puppies. He's taken to calling me kitty cakes. So it's puppy and kitty.

Yep! I'm an aunt. A beautiful little girl named Kayla. She is so precious. i love being an aunt and getting to spoil her. It is so much fun to watch her grow and gain skills and develop.
