Don't know anyone personaly that has had the sugery but have been doing research for about 7 years.Being only 4'11" and 222 lbs I'm pretty misarable.

Welcome. I remember how scared I got when I finally got approval and a real date. Up to that point I was too busy fighting with the insurance company to get scared, but then it became a reality and I got very nervous. But I'm so glad I had the surgery. Good luck on your journey.
