Weight Loss Method - | Hi Everyone!!! I have been MIA for a few weeks but I am feeling much better and back in action. I have a question though. Does anyone remember not loosing anything their 2nd month post op? I had my surgery on 12/05/07 and on 01/03/08 I was down 32lbs. I really try not to weigh myself too often however last night I decided to go ahead and weigh myself. I actuall gained 2lbs..YIKES!!! Is this normal? I had issues last month and unfortunatley still have my G-tube until the end of month so I am really still on just liquids (per my surgeon). Any suggestions? I really thought I had lost...... ![]() |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | you will reach stalls and some ppl even have issues with bouncing, there are some posts on here about that, i believe my first stall was at about 2-3 months out, they really suck but you are actually losing inches when you stall, you body is catching up. i just recently gained 2 pounds, just before TOM came but it came off right away, now im just stalled...yuck! just stick to the plan and things will look up for you, good luck!

| Super Moderator | The G tube and liquids are probably what's making you stall. Your body is ready for foods with more substance, but your pouch issues and G tube has kept you back, so your body's holding on to everything it can. Once your tube has come out, and you're given the go ahead from liquids to food with more susbstance, you'll start losing again. Hang in there, you'll see your goal in the end by sticking to your surgeon's rules even if things are hard right now. (((((HUGS))))
