((HUG)) trashman.
DEPRESSION post op is very normal.
YOUR greiving the loss of foods!
ITS hard some.
AS for the noises comeing from the tummy!
ITS very normal....my kids would giggle from the
sounds mine made early post op after i ate.
ITS odd...but your healing! EVERYDAY will get
better! IF you find the depression alot i would speak
to your regular doctor about it.
I hope you are getting out for small walks there very
good for you early out!
I imagine your on liquid stages of foods!
FEEL free to ask away but so far things
sound normal. BUT i remember every noise,
pain everything worried me that early out.
hang in there!
DID you have open sugery?
OR LAPRISCOPIC????
hugs again

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I had lap RNY. Another issue is the drain tube. It comes out tommarrow, but the other night I must have pulled it. I have a tight pressure on my belly constantly until the tube comes out. I hope its the tube doing the pressure and not anything else.

Drain tubes irritate, so sorry to hear you are having a hard time with it. If it's to come out tomorrow, I take it you are seeing your surgeon tomorrow? Then of course you are going to tell him that you may have unknowing pulled it, aren't you? If you're not scheduled to see your surgeon, definitely give him a call. Heck even if you are seeing him tomorrow, give him a call today and ask.
Early out, if you are worried about anything, call your surgeon. Don't worry about bothering him about nothing, I'm sure he's used to getting such calls, and remember, it's part of his job, and what he's paid to do!

Hi Trashman,

The best thing I ever did was find these wonderful people who have helped me and will help you too. I am almost two month's since my surgery and doing very well. I cetainly have my days, weepy or tired, but things have come so very far. I now am seeing the changes just in my clothes. it is great.
I found sf popcycles were a great treat my first two weeks out. I think I have tried every brand out there!!! (hehehehe)

Good luck to you.....

Hey Trashman.. I can relate to the whole depression thing as I know that others on here can too. I am fighting it hardcore right now and trying to battle it with exercise and distraction. If things get any more bleak I am going to be talking to my doctor about it. I was on medication before I got married for depression and may need to try to go back on it right now while I adjust to my new begining. It is odd to think that as you are accomplishing something so good for you that you would be depressed instead of constantly on cloud nine, but somehow that is the case. I hope that your drainage tube issue is getting better and that you come back and let us help you through this process. I really do look forward to getting to know you better.
