Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass |  Introducing myself Hi everyone, I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Tonya and I am joininng you part way through my WLS journey. I had surgery at Barix Clinics in Ypsilanti, Michigan on September 21, 2007 by my hero, Dr. Stephan Poplawski. After losing 12 lbs pre-op, I weighed 255 lbs on surgery day. Today I weigh 197 lbs. I have been struggling a bit this last week with my confidence, which is crazy considering how far I have come. I still feel fat and can't seem to stop thinking that I am done losing. Hopefully I will snap out of this soon. I want to thank my friend Corinne (Girlsmile43) for inviting me over to this very supportive forum. I look forward to learning more about all of you. Tonya
